Sheffield Arena
Projects include replacement doors to the main entrance, box office, TV entrance and internal doors, servicing and repairs of doors and new handrail door stops.
- TV Entrance: Large oversized double doors and frame with overhead panel, including a cable secure flap to allow door to be locked with cables running through frame.
- Box Office: Replaced screen with 10.8 laminated glass, with drilled holes to take speech equipment.
- Glazing was double glazed toughened safety glass and aluminium was powder coated to colour matched ral number.
- Automatic door gearing fitted by our ADSA approved technicians with maintenance and service contracts.
Wicker Pharmacy - Sheffield
A refurbishment project including new windows, internal and external entrance doors, automatic sliding door and frame and a large aluminium curved internal frame.
- All aluminium was natural anodised and doors were fitted with deadlocks and electric releases.
- Glazing included green optifloat outer and K glass inner double glazed units , single 6.4mm, 10.8 laminated safety glass.
- Our doors withstood the 2007 flood without even needing a service, just a good clean! See the pharmacy website for photos.
Ecclesfield Primary School - Sheffield
Door Maintenance 2003 have carried out a number of projects including replacement of doors, windows and curtain walling using SWC curtain walling, SD door, and STW200 (with thermal break) window system. Features include:
- Powder coating to colour match, insulated aluminium panels to meet current building standards.
- Thermally efficient double glazed units with Low E toughened (inner) and toughened Stopsol reflective glass (outer), to classrooms. Helping maintain a comfortable temperature.
- Oversized main door on entrance for wheelchair access.
- Windows fitted with restrictors and folding openers with coupling bars (cams). For added safety and security, even when open.
Hathersage School
Replacement of old steel windows with new powder coated black aluminium windows. Designed to be in keeping with the age of the building and complementary to the stone work.
- Fixed upper lights and openers to bottom.
- Buff coloured silicone used to blend with stone.
- Double glazed toughened safety glass.
